Manulife Walk ForR Memories at Hillcrest Mall

The Manulife Walk For Memories is the largest fundraising event for the Alzheimer Societies in Ontario and last month they held court in Richmond Hill. . The Walk events, hosted by Alzheimer Society Chapters in over 55 communities, including Richmond Hill,are dedicated to increasing awareness and raising funds for vital programs and services that support people living with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias.

With an estimated 185,000 Ontarians living with Alzheimer's disease or related dementia, the Manulife Walk For Memories plays a critical role in supporting individuals and their families facing this disease. In 2010, more than 38,000 people will be diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease.
