Cutting the New Year's Levee cake

Councillor Godwin Chan Ward 6 New Year Levee

Last month Councillor Chan held a New Year's Levee to celebrate the New Year and hear about upcoming initiatives and improvements for the neighborhoods.

The events was held at the Langstaff Community Centre in Richmond Hill and was a huge success.
Members of the community and the York Regional Police were on hand to support this wonderful event.

Their was an opportunity for the residents to send their best wishes for the athletes of the Vancouver Olympics by signing a poster that will be sent directly to the athletes.

Councillor Chan also organized performances by some of the amazing students of the Contemporary conservatory of Music and Arts(CCMA). It was these performances that had the crowd buzz with excitement.
