Monopoly Game at McDonald's
Count Liting Zhang among those who know that when hunger strikes, you can strike it rich – especially if you visited your local restaurant during the Monopoly® Game at McDonald’s.
The Yonge and 16th Avenue McDonald’s restaurant in Richmond Hill was full of winning smiles as Liting Zhang, computer programmer for Moore Canada, celebrated his “great fortune” after peeling an “Instant Win” game stamp for $10,000 off his Big Mac. The $10,000 “Instant Win” prize was only part of the impressive prize pool that was available in the Monopoly® 2009 Game at McDonald’s.
Launched on October 6th in participating McDonald’s restaurants across North America and finished November 9th (November 16th online), the Monopoly® 2009 Game at McDonald’s gave customers three different ways to win cash and food prizes, including by playing online at www.playatmcd.ca.
“We were very excited to learn that one of our customers here at the Yonge and 16th Avenue McDonald’s was a winner in our Monopoly 2009 Game,” said Steve Forman, local McDonald’s Franchisee. “We’re thrilled to have offered our customers the chance to play one of the world’s most popular games in our restaurant!”
