42nd Winter Carnival is Comming

Come help celebrate the 42nd annual Richmond Hill Winter Carnival on Feb 5-7, 2010 at Mill Pond Park. Visit the Viking Village, play some pond hockey, enjoy the entertainment and watch the skydivers land on the ice during this annual event.

As the event is entirely run by community volunteers we decided to stop by the pond to see the volunteers hard at work getting the pond ready for the event.

The committee is pleased to announce that entry to Carnival is free and for $2 visitors can purchase a Carnival button and be eligible for dozens of prizes including an Ipod, Canadian Tire power tools, hockey skates, and Toronto Maple Leaf Hockey Tickets. Free outdoor activities take place all weekend long.
