Richland Academy Celebrates The Oympics

To celebrate the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympic Games, Richland Academy hosted one of their own. Special guest, Mr. Dominic Primucci brought his Olympic torch and regalia to the Richland Opening Ceremonies to get the excitement started. 2000 Australia Summer Bronze Medal Olympian in rowing, Dorota Urbaniak, was also present to encourage students, to not only have good sportsmanship but to always plan and work together to achieve and reach their dreams in all that they try to accomplish. Events were held over the Olympic two week period. Children did their best in colour-coordinated teams, as they strove for gold!
