Winter Carnival!
Last month the 41st annual Richmond Hill Winter Carnival was held at the Mill Pond. The carnival is a weekend of affordable fun and entertainment organized by volunteers to celebrate the community of Richmond Hill in a welcoming atmosphere.
This event was a great way for the residents to come together and celebrate the winter season together. I have to tell you that this was one of the best events that I have been a part of since I started this newspaper.
The weekend was jam pack with so much excitement. There were a lot of great events such as the snowboarding, sky divers, live bands, bed races, children's rides and horse drawn sleigh rides just to name a few.
This truly was a great event and on behalf of myself and the residents who attended, I would like to thank the organizing committee, all the volunteers and sponsors who made this carnival another successful event.
